Welcome to my Etsy shop. The Tinker's Daughter has been doing business for several years as Special FX. But a new year is coming and we are giving the shop a new name along with some new ideas and products in the coming year. The Tinkers Daughter is the perfect place to find fun, funky, one of a kind jewelry. I have been a jewelry artist and designer for over 14 years and over 11 years ago I ventured into the realm of steampunk, fantasy, and goth jewelry. Blending a love of antiques (having been a sometime antiques dealer) and science fiction it has been my joy to create these bits of whimsy.
I combine bits of filigree, antique watch parts, keys, vintage jewelry and found objects and each piece tells a story of its own. More recently I ventured into gift items, some using multi-media, that include picture frames, journals, and keepsake boxes. More recently I have ventured further into making fantasy, medieval, and renaissance items as well including jewelry, carnival masks, fairy wing jewelry, and elven circlets. Please check back often as I add new items and sections.
There is a single shipping fee on orders of several items and all items are carefully packed and shipped with delivery confirmation included. 1 out of 5 starsI don't recommend this shop when I received it it was all crinkly it wasn't flat then when I went to put it on the class goes clear over to the other side without trying to make it like a choker and her reply was well you should have gave me the measurements then any necklace that you tighten up should not go clear across the other side of your neck I don't recommend this go somewhere else what this person charges is way out of line for what you get it's not worth it I feel totally ripped off

1 out of 5 starsI ordered this picture frame on the 12th of July and it arrived today (11th of September) - it would have been faster to order it directly from China, where it was made according to the sticker on the back. The frame is very pretty but the glass was cracked. To add 'insult to injury' I had to pay £15 for under - funded postage.
